| This is a
beautiful Shakespeare #6535
Kingfish Wobbler and, other than a few age lines on the face, is in
excellent condition in the box. It was produced in the
1930s and 1940s. It
has 3 treble hooks, carved eyes, a metal ventral fin and a marked metal lip.
The heavy chrome plated metal flasher on the back has
no markings. This may
indicate an early model of this bait. This
scarce lure is in the silver
flitter paint pattern and even has all the paint on both belly weights. The
box is in as nice a condition as the lure and are a
very tough combination
to find, especially in this condition. Please check out the pictures and
feel free to email with any and all questions. |

| This great old handmade lure has an
original rainbow type paint pattern.
It has a Chubby Minnow lip and hardware, a
handmade metal wagtail on the
rear, and yellow/black painted eyes. The heavy wooden body measures about 3
1/2" long. Except for a little tarnish on the metal wagtail, this lure is in
excellent condition! I bought this lures
about 16 years ago at a garage sale and am not sure of
its age. |

| This is a
very unusual barber pole type
bait! I bought it at a fishing tackle show about 15 years ago and do not know the age or
maker. It looks to have never been used though since the paint is still in
the line tie. The colors and condition are both
beautiful! Check it out! |

| I could
use some help from some fellow collectors out there identifying the
two vintage fish decoys pictured here. Please
email with any information you might be able to share with me on any of
them. Thanks! |

| A
fellow collector, David Rasmussen, was kind enough to share some information on the
vintage ice fishing decoy
with the black bars shown here. He tells me that it was made by
Lawrence Bethel of Lake
George, MN, and painted by his wife, Maggie. She passed away in the 1990s
and the decoy world recently lost Lawrence in 2006. Lawrence started
commercial production of decoys about 1980, largely influenced by his
father, Pearl, and his uncle, Cyril, both famous carvers in their own right.
The "B" on the belly of the decoy is Lawrence's decoy signature. Mr.
Rasmussen, who was a friend of Lawrence and is a fellow decoy carver,
guessed the value of the Bethel Decoy shown here at about $40 to $85.
Please email if interested. |

This is a nice example of a Sapphire Blue Fire King pie
plate. It is the medium size, measuring 9 1/4" in diameter and
is marked "Fire King" on the bottom. It has a soft blue color and the usual
distinctive etched Fire King pattern with
no chips or cracks. There is
a little very minor wear and a few scratches on the
bottom from use, along with some minor baking stains. I have been told that these can be
cleaned off, but I wasn't told how! This Sapphire Blue Fire King glassware is a
very
popular collectible these days! |

| This is a very nice little
creamer that I know nothing about. It has a trade mark on the bottom that
looks like a bird, maybe a dove, and is marked "Hand Painted Made in ???". I
can't make out where it was made. It has beautiful flowers painted on both
sides. Check out the pictures. If anyone can share any information on this,
it would be appreciated. Thank you. |

This is a very pretty item that
I know nothing about and have not been able to find in any books. It is a
gorgeous yellow bowl with
a clear bottom and a stylish pattern around the
edge. It is in great condition
and looks to be quality made. Please check out the pictures and
let me know if you can shed any light on is maker, age, or origin. Thank
you. |
